Job Description:

As an Instrumentation Fitter, you will play a critical role in our company's success by assembling, installing, and maintaining instrumentation systems and equipment. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure that our clients receive reliable and efficient solutions for their industrial processes. This role demands a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Instrumentation Installation: Execute the installation and commissioning of various instrumentation devices, including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, control valves, and analyzers.

2. Testing and Calibration: Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems to ensure their accuracy and proper functioning.

3. Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their operational lifespan.

4. Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams to assemble and align instrumentation systems accurately.

5. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards while working on-site or in the workshop to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance.

6. Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and other team members to discuss project requirements, progress, and challenges, contributing to efficient project execution.

7. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all activities, including work reports, service records, and inventory logs.

8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimizations in instrumentation projects and contribute to the enhancement of our services.

Requirements:

1. Technical Expertise: High school diploma or equivalent, coupled with formal training or certification as an Instrumentation Technician or Fitter.

2. Hands-on Experience: Proven experience (X years) in instrumentation installation, maintenance, and repairs within the [relevant industry] sector.

3. Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation systems and implement effective solutions.

4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reading technical drawings and ensuring precise assembly and alignment of instrumentation components.

5. Safety Conscious: Strong awareness of safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

6.Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

7.Adaptability: Flexible to work on-site, in the workshop, and occasionally travel to client locations for installation and maintenance tasks.
