Position Summary:

Design and develop tailored FIT travel products within the MICE sector by sourcing quality suppliers and negotiating competitive terms. Conduct market research to craft innovative, client-centric offerings backed by strategic pricing. Support marketing and sales teams with effective product communication and training. Ensure high service standards through quality assurance and continuous product innovation.


Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Product Design & Development

    : Develop bespoke travel packages and experiences for FIT clients within the MICE sector, including specialized itineraries, accommodations, and local activities.
  2. Team Leadership:

    Oversee and mentor client servicing executives, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  3. Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  4. Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation

    : Identify and establish relationships with suppliers (hotels, transport providers, local tour operators), negotiate competitive rates, and secure favourable terms to enhance product offerings.
  5. Market Analysis

    : Conduct market research to understand client preferences and emerging trends in FIT travel. Utilize insights to create competitive and innovative products that meet evolving demands.
  6. Pricing Strategy

    : Develop pricing models that ensure profitability while remaining competitive within the market. Monitor cost structures and suggest adjustments to optimize revenue.
  7. Product Marketing Support

    : Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging promotional material for FIT products, ensuring that key features and USPs are communicated effectively to clients.
  8. Quality Assurance

    : Establish quality standards for each product, regularly review customer feedback, and work with suppliers to maintain a high level of service and client satisfaction.
  9. Client & Sales Support

    : Provide training and support to sales teams on FIT product offerings, key selling points, and booking processes, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote the products.
  10. Innovation & Product Expansion

    : Continuously seek new opportunities to expand the FIT product range, adapting products to meet changing client needs and industry trends.

 

Qualification / Experience / Special Skills


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product development within the travel, hospitality, or MICE industry, with a focus on FIT and customized travel solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or master degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of FIT, along with current industry trends.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop creative, high-value travel products tailored to FIT clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and travel booking software.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of international destinations and local cultures, languages, and travel preferences will be an added advantage.
