Job SummaryThe Fire and Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive fire and safety programs across assigned properties. This role ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fire safety policies, procedures, and training programsConduct regular fire risk assessments and safety audits across assigned propertiesManage fire protection systems, including inspection, testing, and maintenanceCoordinate with local fire departments and regulatory agenciesInvestigate fire incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actionsOversee emergency preparedness and evacuation planningProvide fire and safety training to employees, tenants, and contractorsMaintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, drills, and incidentsStay current with fire safety regulations and industry best practicesCollaborate with other departments to ensure fire safety is integrated into all aspects of property managementQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in fire safety management, preferably in commercial real estate

Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or similar certification

Thorough knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, OSHA regulations, and local fire safety laws

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software

Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as neededKey Competencies:
