Job Description

As a Finishing Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating finishing trades on construction sites. Your key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring all finishing work meets quality and safety standards - Inspecting completed work and addressing deficiencies - Coordinating with project managers and site supervisors - Scheduling and planning daily finishing activities - Managing subcontractors and ensuring timely completion of tasks - Maintaining accurate records and progress reports - Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations - Ordering and managing materials and supplies - Resolving on-site issues and conflicts - Conducting safety meetings and enforcing safety protocols - Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders To qualify for this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman - Strong knowledge of finishing trades and construction processes - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Decent communication and good interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures - Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance.
