Job Description

Role Overview: As a Lead Balance Sheet Reconciliation at Calderys Group entities, your primary responsibility will be to ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely resolution of risk items. You will manage the BPO team and collaborate with regional finance and controllers to deliver accurate reconciliations in alignment with Group accounting policies and internal control standards. Your role will involve driving standardization, process improvement, and strong balance sheet governance across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of the balance sheet of local entities and facilitate discussions regarding the quality and resolution of risk items. - Supervise the BPO team to ensure the delivery of quality Balance Sheet Reconciliation according to Calderys policies. - Proactively identify and escalate any issues and risks to engage in discussions with relevant stakeholders to prevent write-offs or unexpected P&L impact. - Review documentation for the month-end control process, ensuring full compliance with Calderys requirements, and support control remediation when necessary. - Coordinate the production of analyses, schedules, and summaries for entity Financial Controllers and Directors, including monthly governance and risk management forums. - Manage audit deliverables as needed and drive standardization and improvements in the Balance Sheet Process. - Maintain the ARCS system effectively. Qualifications Required: - Qualification such as CA/MBA or equivalent, or an advanced level in your career. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role. - Proficiency in SAP or major ERP systems, including Balance Sheet Management Software. - Experience in managing a BPO organization to deliver Balance Sheet Management. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively to meet key deadlines. - Excellent presentation skills and problem-solving abilities with a growth and enterprise mindset. - Experience in continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and thriving in a highly collaborative and diverse culture.
