Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Investment Evaluation & Financial Modeling

• Build detailed financial and valuation models (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, scenario analysis) for potential investments.
  
• Analyze business plans, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and key performance metrics.
  
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to support investment decisions.
  

Deal Support & Documentation

• Prepare high-quality

  investment memos

  and

  deal presentations

  for internal investment committee discussions.
• Support due diligence processes across financial, commercial, and operational dimensions.
  
• Collaborate with external advisors, consultants, and portfolio company teams as required.
  

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

• Track portfolio company performance, financial health, and key milestones.
  
• Assist in preparing quarterly investor reports and performance dashboards.
  
• Maintain internal databases, models, and templates for ongoing monitoring and benchmarking.
  

Market & Sector Research

• Conduct sectoral and thematic research to identify new investment opportunities.
  
• Stay updated on emerging trends, market movements, and valuation benchmarks across focus sectors.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (or pursuing) with

  2–5 years

  of relevant experience in investment analysis, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong proficiency in

  Excel-based financial modeling

  and

  PowerPoint

  .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to distill complex financial and business information into concise, insight-driven narratives.
  
• A self-starter with strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for the venture ecosystem.
