Job Description

Perform audits across Amazon Financial Systems using Amazon internal and third-party tools with the highest degree of accuracy
Perform reviews of audit findings to maintain a high bar on quality and provide constructive feedback to the team Partner with various accounting and finance vertical teams (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable) to ensure procedures and controls are routinely applied whist performing accounting and operations Contribute to process improvements required to enhance controls and/or optimize team productivity Lead standard operating procedure (SOP) document enhancements and calibration Support monthly/quarterly financial closing activities in close co-ordination with business and accounting teams Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner. Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders Perform ad-hoc business analysis and financial modeling. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives Participate in recruiting efforts and continually raise the bar Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects, as appropriate
