Financial Account Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager Finance & Accounts at Findoc, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing financial strategies. Your key tasks will include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing a finance team. You will also be required to coordinate with other departments to support the overall financial goals and objectives of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly closing activities and Monthly MIS reports - Generate custom reports based on management requirements for key performance indicators (KPIs) - Develop advanced dashboards and conduct trend analysis on various financial aspects including brokerage income, proprietary trading P&L, client-level profitability, margin utilization, and cost-income ratios - Provide guidance to team members on daily compliance and accounting procedures - Streamline accounting and reporting processes - Ensure tax compliance with GST, TDS, and Income tax regulations - Coordinate with other departments for timely and accurate accounting entries - Liaise with statutory and internal auditors - Prepare financial statements on a quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc basis - Draft and finalize replies to statutory notices with consolidated financial data - Identify gaps, review periodically, and streamline and improve SOPs and RCMs, DOA - Ensure compliance with IndAS for different assertions in the financial statements, specifically Division III of CA, 2013 - Supervise timely filing of SEBI/Exchange returns and reports - Implement ERP/advanced accounting software suitable for broking/trading activities - Optimize tax positions in derivatives and proprietary trades - Collaborate with business heads to provide financial insights for decision-making - Support management in evaluating new business opportunities, acquisitions, or cross-border ventures from a financial and regulatory perspective Qualifications: - Proficiency in Finance and Account Management - Strong Customer Service and Sales skills - Experience in Team Management - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field - Professional certifications such as CA or CPA are a plus - Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
