Finance Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Reconciling the companys bank & credit card statements, and book-keeping ledgers.
• Knowledge of AR/AP and supervision of Sales & Purchase invoices.
• Managing income and expenditure accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and detail oriented.
• Contributing to the preparation of new or amended accounting systems, program & procedures.
• Initiating and managing financial/accounting software used by the company.
• Strong analytical, communications and computer skills.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance.
• Preparation of MIS reports.
• Assist with audit preparations.
• Income and corporate tax filing.
• Finalization of accounts etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Graduate Degree in Commerce or Equivalent.
• Strong technical account ting skills and proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal financial regulations.
• Proficient in computer applications and usage of Microsoft office packages.
• String communication and interpersonal skills.
