Finance Officer

As a Financial Leader at a reputed University based in Dehradun, your role involves overseeing the financial operations of the Group to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will provide strategic financial guidance to the Founding Team and promoters, develop financial models and feasibility studies to support growth and investment decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for project and operational functions. - Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions for optimized financial performance. - Oversee timely compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS, GST, and other tax laws. - Manage internal and external audits to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. - Develop robust internal control systems and enhance financial policies in collaboration with consultants. - Lead financial management for group-level projects, oversee procurement processes, and monitor project costs. - Ensure efficient cash flow management, liquidity planning, and maintain banking relationships. - Prepare periodic financial reports, maintain accuracy in financial tracking, and ensure compliance with the chart of accounts. - Guide teams in maintaining accurate financial records, implementing financial control frameworks, and assisting in budget preparation. - Manage revenue management, participate in budgeting and planning processes, and implement cost optimization initiatives. - Ensure compliance with University Act and Statutes, and proper accounting of fixed assets. Qualifications Required: - CA qualification with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
