Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Compliance & Finance

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong exposure to construction and real estate finance to manage statutory compliance, taxation, audits, GST, banking, and payment controls. The role is critical in ensuring financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination across projects.

Key Responsibilities Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Oversee timely and accurate filing of Corporate Income Tax returns, Advance Tax, and TDS returns for the company and directors.
• Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations applicable to the organization.

Audits & Litigation

• Handle tax assessments, notices, and departmental queries.
• Manage tax audits and oversee litigation matters at various forums.
• Liaise with tax authorities, statutory auditors, and external consultants.

GST Management & Reporting

• Ensure complete compliance with GST laws, including timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, and reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) effectively.
• Prepare and share monthly GST compliance and reconciliation reports with management.

Real Estate & Construction-Specific Advisory

• Advise on GST implications related to construction activities, Joint Ventures, works contracts, and e-invoicing.
• Interpret and apply different GST rates for under-construction vs completed projects.

Local & Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee compliance related to Stamp Duty, Registration Charges, RERA, and other local body taxes or cesses relevant to real estate operations.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, external tax consultants, legal counsel, and government authorities to ensure transparency and governance.

Banking & Finance

• Maintain cordial relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Monitor interest rates for existing loans and ensure corrections/renegotiations in line with market conditions.

Payment Controls

• Review and validate all payments with reference to approved rate cards, contracts, and Purchase Orders (POs) before release.

Eligibility & Preferred Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Construction / Real Estate industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, RERA, and project-based accounting.
• Ability to work independently, handle audits, and interact confidently with authorities.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
