Finance Executive – Donor Projects - NGO

Location: Aundh, Pune

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive will be responsible for managing utilization certificates and ensuring that funds are effectively used across Lighthouses. This role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliance and transparency in fund utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify utilization certificates for donor funding.
• Track and ensure funds are allocated and utilized appropriately across Lighthouses.
• Collaborate with finance and program teams to maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with donor financial reporting guidelines and requirements.
• Develop periodic reports on fund utilization for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in audits and financial reviews related to donor funding.
• Support donor communication by providing clear and structured financial data.
• Work closely with senior management to optimize financial resource allocation.

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of fund management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Analytical & Reporting Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and present utilization insights effectively.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with donor guidelines.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple financial reporting deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in donor financial relations and engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office & Financial Software: Strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and accounting tools.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to resolving financial discrepancies and reporting issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial management or fund utilization.
• Prior experience in NGOs, CSR funding, or social impact organizations is preferred.
