Finance Controller

As a Finance Controller at OPEN, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial landscape of a rapidly growing startup. With over 15 years of experience in finance roles, including 5 years in a leadership capacity, you will be responsible for building and implementing scalable financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support company growth and ensure compliance. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing accurate and timely financial statements, MIS reports, and detailed financial analyses to facilitate strategic decision-making. You will drive strategic financial initiatives that align finance operations with business goals and growth plans, while effectively managing relationships with investors, auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams. You will leverage your deep experience in SaaS/B2B tech business models to create tailored financial strategies that promote business scalability and efficiency. Additionally, you will provide financial thought leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, ensuring full compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations. Your role will also involve managing risk mitigation, forex hedging, and treasury planning to optimize liquidity and financial health. Moreover, you will lead critical finance projects, internal/external audits, and strategic initiatives, delivering high-quality outcomes in a timely manner. To excel in this role, you should possess a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, along with a strong understanding of Indian GAAP, tax laws, treasury, and audit requirements. Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are essential, as well as exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
