Finance and Accounting Manager

As a Senior Finance & Accounts Specialist/Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects of the business. Your main responsibilities will include cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, taxation & GST compliance, and handling invoicing & purchase orders. In terms of cash flow management, you will be tasked with monitoring cash flow, forecasting cash requirements, and ensuring optimal liquidity for business operations. Additionally, you will assist in preparing and managing annual budgets to ensure accurate allocation of funds and monitor budget performance to identify variances and suggest corrective actions. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Your role will involve analyzing financial data, providing insights, and ensuring the accuracy of reports for management review. Moreover, you will perform monthly bank reconciliations to guarantee the accurate reflection of financial transactions in company accounts. In terms of taxation & GST compliance, you will assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns while ensuring compliance with GST and other statutory regulations. You will also be responsible for generating and sending invoices to clients as per agreed terms. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field with at least 6 years of experience in accounting and finance functions. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions), Tally, SAP, or other accounting software is required, along with knowledge of GST and tax compliance regulations. Strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and attention to detail are also essential for this position. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in handling taxation and GST filings, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
