Role Description

Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in

  Zoho Books

  , including invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses.
• Manage

  vendor and supplier payments

  , ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing.
• Generate

  customer invoices

  , track incoming payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to support healthy cash flow.
• Perform

  bank reconciliations

  , matching statements with internal records and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain

  financial reports

  such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Monitor and categorize

  company expenses

  , identifying overspending trends and recommending cost-saving measures.
• Support the preparation of

  financial forecasts and budgets

  .
• Maintain organized records to ensure

  audit-readiness

  and compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with

  Zoho Books

  is

  mandatory

  .
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar finance admin role preferred.
• Strong proficiency in

  Excel/Google Sheets

  .
• Proficiency in Finance and Financial Statements
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Expertise in Accounting
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work effectively on-site in Chennai
