Film Script Writer-Team Lead

About the Role

Macgence is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Script Evaluation who can oversee a team of script reviewers while actively contributing to high-quality creative assessments. You will lead evaluators who review movie/OTT scripts and episodes across genres, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong narrative analysis. This role requires a strong command of storytelling, team management capabilities, and a passion for film, media, and OTT content.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Evaluation

• Review and analyze scripts and OTT episodes across genres.
• Evaluate storyline, plot structure, dialogues, character arc, originality, and audience engagement.
• Provide structured written feedback, rationales, and scoring.

Team Leadership & Quality Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of junior and mid-level evaluators.
• Ensure evaluation consistency, quality checks, and adherence to guidelines.
• Conduct training sessions on narrative analysis, writing quality, and project guidelines.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and deliverables.

Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with QA, Project Managers, and content teams to maintain evaluation quality.
• Handle escalations, resolve quality issues, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain data accuracy, confidentiality, and secure workflow practices.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on team performance and project progress.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in one of the following:

• Literature
• Film Studies
• Mass Communication
• Screenwriting
• Creative Writing
• Journalism or related fields

Experience Requirements

• Team Lead/Senior Role: 3–5 years in script evaluation, creative writing, fiction/story analysis, publishing, narrative research, or UGC/content writing.
• Prior experience in leading teams, mentoring, or handling creative QA processes is highly preferred.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
