Job Opening: Field Support Engineer / Technician – Printer & Photocopier

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Field Support Engineer / Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Printers, Multifunction devices, and Photocopiers at client sites. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and demonstrate printers, photocopiers, and MFPs at client locations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including part replacement and firmware upgrades.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, network, and connectivity issues.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain service records, reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Educate customers on device usage, basic troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the service team for escalations and complex problem resolution.

Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in printer / photocopier / MFD servicing (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply).
• Hands-on experience with brands such as HP, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Xerox, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking, drivers, and connectivity setup (USB, Wi-Fi, LAN).
• Good communication skills and customer handling abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred, not mandatory).
