Field Service Engineer

Summary of work Environment and Work performed

The Field service engineer is responsible for providing services across the region. He is also responsible for quality Commissioning & Handing over of all the TMEIC Products Motors & Drive as per standard. Attending the breakdown support for all the TMEIC products and ensuring the system operations within committed TAT. Generating Service inquiries and passing on to Service Sales team. Accountable for planning and timely execution of contractual preventive maintenance. Responsible uptime of product under warranty & with service contract.

Specific Duties

• Responsible for quality Commissioning & Handing over of all the TMEIC products like Motors & Drives Systems.
• To manage all Service and Technical aspects for the full range of Motors & Drive products with the objective of achieving the set target/Objectives.
• Attending the breakdown support for all the TMEIC products and ensuring the system operation within committed TAT.
• Generating Service inquiries and passing on to Service Sales team.
• Accountable for planning and timely execution of contractual preventive maintenance.
• Coordinating the entire activity of the After Sales Support (Service & Support area) department.
• Responsible uptime of product under warranty & with service contract.

Responsible for on time documentations CRM Call creation, Closure, Spare request, Report submissions to customer.

Technical background in Motors Service /commissioning support. Relevant experience in field service /commissioning of product & configuration. Ability to travel to customer sites. Effective communication skills & presentation skills. Strong Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated and innovative

Experience:

Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience into Motors after Sales Support.

• Field service support & commissioning experience in motors.
• Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills.
• Shall be assertive and persuasive.
