Role Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer at Niprow Eitek, you will be a crucial part of our customer-facing team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our complete range of industrial weighing systems. You will ensure the flawless operation of our products at customer sites, provide expert technical support, and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation and commissioning of new weighbridges, scales, and weighing systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled service calls, and calibrations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues related to our weighing systems.
• Execute timely and effective repairs, replacements, and system upgrades.
• Provide comprehensive technical support and training to client personnel on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and respond promptly to customer service requests.
• Document all service activities, including detailed reports on work performed, parts used, and technical findings.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) as a Field Service Engineer or a similar role, preferably in the industrial equipment sector.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Experience with industrial scales, load cells, and digital indicators is a plus.
• Personal Attributes:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
