Role Overview

Field Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Client Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and meet potential enterprise clients across assigned regions.
  • Generate leads through field visits, networking, industry events, and referrals.
  • Present the company’s SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, and RCS product suite to decision-makers.

2. Product Demonstration & Solution Selling

  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and product demos for corporate clients.
  • Analyze client requirements and propose tailored communication solutions.
  • Educate clients on CPaaS benefits, integration models, and regulatory aspects such as DLT.

3. Sales Pipeline Management

  • Manage complete sales cycle—from lead generation to closure.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.

4. Relationship Building & Key Account Development

  • Build strong on-ground relationships with clients to generate repeat business.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support onboarding, integration, and service delivery.

5. Revenue & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently.
  • Drive new business acquisition while also growing existing accounts.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and CPaaS industry developments.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Bulk SMS (Transactional, Promotional, OTP)
    • Voice Services (OBD, IVR, Call Campaigns, TTS)
    • WhatsApp Business API
    • RCS Business Messaging
    • Enterprise messaging workflows and telecom architecture
  • Knowledge of APIs, CRMs, channels, and basic technical integrations preferred.

Sales & Negotiation Skills

  • Ability to engage CXOs, IT heads, digital teams, and marketing leaders.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Experience in preparing solution proposals and commercial structures.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Confident presenter with strong client-handling abilities.
  • Ability to build lasting professional relationships.

Behavioral Competencies

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with extensive field travel.
  • High adaptability and willingness to learn continuously.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum

    3 years of field sales experience

    in SMS, Voice, WhatsApp API, RCS, digital communication, telecom, or CPaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
