Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.) and databases.
Perform regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Manage user administration, security, and authorizations.
Handle transport management (TMS) and system refreshes.
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Administer underlying databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, MaxDB).
Manage operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, UNIX).
Create and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting.
Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:
3-5+ years in SAP Basis Administration.
Technical:

Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA DB.
Proficiency in OS (Linux/Windows) & DB (HANA, Oracle, etc.).
Experience with SAP tools (SUM, SWPM, Solution Manager).
Performance tuning, monitoring, security, backup/restore expertise.

Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have:

SAP Certifications.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Project management experience.
ABAP debugging knowledge.
