Field Executive

We are seeking a proactive and responsible Field Executive who will manage both purchase and quality operations at the source. The role involves vendor development, price negotiations, field-level quality checks, and ensuring timely procurement from suppliers. This job requires extensive travelling to vendor locations, farms, production sites, and processing units.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Development & Management

• Identify, visit, and onboard new vendors/farmers/suppliers.

• Build long-term relationships with reliable raw material suppliers.

• Evaluate vendor capabilities, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

2. Purchase Operations

• Conduct field visits to source locations and finalize purchases.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.

• Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchase requirements and timelines.

• Ensure materials are procured as per company specifications.

3. Quality Assurance & Field Checks

• Perform quality inspections at the sourcefarms, processing centers, warehouses, etc.

• Ensure products meet defined quality, certification, and organic standards.

• Identify deviations, document issues, and ensure corrective actions by vendors.

• Report field quality findings to the Quality and Purchase teams.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain proper documentation of purchase details, quality check reports, and vendor assessments.

• Provide timely updates to the internal team regarding field visits, product availability, pricing, and quality.

5. Travel

• Frequent travel to multiple states, vendor sites, farms, and processing units as required.

• Ability to work independently on field assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Agriculture, Food Technology, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

• 13 years of experience in purchase/sourcing/quality fieldwork.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Knowledge of organic products, raw materials, and agricultural sourcing is an advantage.

• Ability to handle extensive field travel.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
