Job Description

Job Title: Field Coordinator – Supply & Installation

Location: Tripura

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary:

The Field Coordinator – Supply & Installation will be responsible for overseeing the on- ground delivery, installation, and verification of educational equipment and infrastructure materials in government schools across assigned districts of Tripura. The role includes coordination with vendors, school authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely execution, proper documentation, and issue resolution at the site level.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Supply Coordination

  • Receive delivery schedules from the HO/state team and ensure school-level readiness.
  • Coordinate with vendors/logistics partners for timely delivery of lab equipment, furniture, and materials.
  • Ensure materials match the delivery challan and tender specifications.

B. Installation Supervision

  • Oversee on-site installation and setup of labs (STEM, ATL, VR, Robotics, TLM corners, etc.).
  • Ensure installation follows the layout plan and safety guidelines.
  • Support school staff in initial usage guidance and minor troubleshooting.

C. Documentation & Reporting

  • Collect and submit signed delivery challans, installation reports, and photo documentation.
  • Maintain daily logs of deliveries, site issues, and pending items.
  • Report progress and issues to the Project Manager on a regular basis.

D. School & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Communicate with Headmasters, teachers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Handle any school-level queries or concerns and escalate unresolved issues.

E. Support in Quality Checks

  • Conduct basic quality checks on items delivered and installed.
  • Flag any discrepancies, damage, or defects immediately to the central team.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline (Science/Engineering background
  • preferred).
  • 1–3 years of fieldwork experience in logistics, installation, or education-related
  • projects.
  • Ability to work independently and handle site-level coordination.
  • Strong communication skills in Bengali and/or Kokborok; basic English and Hindi
  • understanding.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in government school projects under Samagra Shiksha, CSR-funded labs, or digital classroom setups.
  • Familiarity with school functioning, education infrastructure, and vendor coordination.
  • Candidates from local districts preferred for ease of mobility and communication.
