Feed Mill Production Supervisor

The Feed Mill Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of a feed manufacturing facility. Their responsibilities typically focus on production efficiency, quality assurance, staff management, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Production :

• Oversee and coordinate daily feed production schedules.
• Ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of feed products according to quality standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Quality Control : Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee feed safety and consistency in quality.

Inventory Management :

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, additives and packaging.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery and storage.
• Manage documentation related to feed formulation and batch tracking.

Team Support :

• Manage and supervise production staff, including operators, loaders, and technicians.
• Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage workforce coverage.
• Train and develop team members on operational procedures and safety standards.

Reporting :

• Prepare production reports (output, efficiency, downtime, waste).
• Maintain records for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Support management in setting and achieving production targets.

Compliance : Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and safety standards within the production facility.

Requirements:

1. Education : Any Bachelor's degree, Diploma or related field.

2. Experience : 2-3 years of experience in poultry feed production or a related industry.

3. Computer Proficiency : Basic computer operating knowledge, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is required.

4. Technical Skills : In-depth understanding of poultry feed production processes and machinery.

5. Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with problem-solving and analytical abilities.

6. Teamwork : Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
