F&B CAPTAIN

Job Title: F&B Captain (Food & Beverage Captain)

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B Manager

Job Summary:

The F&B Captain is responsible for supervising restaurant service operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, coordinating with service staff and kitchen teams, and maintaining smooth day-to-day food and beverage service. The role requires leadership, attention to detail, and excellent guest-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service operations
• Ensure excellent guest service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally
• Take orders accurately and ensure timely service of food and beverages
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for order flow and special guest requests
• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies
• Assist in inventory control, stock checking, and requisitions
• Support management during peak hours and special events

Guest Relations:

• Welcome guests and ensure a pleasant dining experience
• Build positive guest relationships and encourage repeat business
• Handle special requests, dietary requirements, and VIP guests

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of food, beverages, menu items, and service standards
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tables
• Good interpersonal and team management skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage service
• Prior experience as a Captain or Senior Waiter is an advantage

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
