About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Fashion Stylist to shape how Aramya’s designs come alive visually — across shoots, catalogues, campaigns, and in-store communication.

In this role, you will work closely with designers, creative teams, and shoot partners to create visually compelling looks that reflect brand aesthetics and resonate with our customers.

This role is perfect for someone who understands Indian ethnic wear deeply, has strong taste and aesthetic sense, and can work in a fast-paced D2C environment with weekly launches and rapid shoot cycles.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Styling & Visual Presentation

• Curate and style complete looks for e-commerce shoots, catalogue presentations, campaigns, and lookbooks.
• Ensure outfits, accessories, drapes, and fall are aligned with Aramya’s brand aesthetic.
• Maintain high visual appeal and consistency across all shoot outputs.

2. Collaboration with Designers

• Work closely with the design team to understand new collections, fabrics, silhouettes, and seasonal trends.
• Participate in collection planning discussions to provide styling inputs.

3. Trend Research

• Stay updated on Indian ethnic wear trends, consumer preferences, colours, drapes, and regional aesthetics.
• Incorporate modern, contemporary styling elements into ethnic wear presentations.

4. Customer Interaction (Brand Events)

• Provide styling assistance to customers during in-store events, campaigns, or special activations.
• Share styling tips for different body types, occasions, and looks.

5. Inventory & Shoot Coordination

• Manage styling inventory, accessories, jewellery, props, and drapes.
• Coordinate with shoot agencies for weekly shoots, ensuring all looks, products, and requirements are prepared.
• Follow up for raw and edited media deliveries to meet deadlines.

6. Graphic Editing & Visual Enhancements

• Aesthetic editing of shoot images/videos for best representation of garments.
• Basic to intermediate Photoshop/Illustrator edits to enhance overall styling output.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Styling, or related field from NID/NIFT/PEARL or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a Fashion Stylist, preferably in Indian ethnic wear or D2C fashion brands.
• Strong aesthetic sense, colour coordination, draping skills, and attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of Indian ethnic wear trends and customer behaviours.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Creative, agile, and able to deliver under tight timelines.
• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
