Role Description

Fashion Designer

This role is ideal for someone who:

• believes great design lies in

  fit, proportion, and restraint

• is passionate about creating

  flattering silhouettes for diverse body types

• enjoys working hands-on in a

  startup and factory-led environment

Estimated Compensation: 3-6 LPA

Key Responsibilities

• Design and refine

  loungewear & athleisure silhouettes

  (tops, bottoms, coordinated sets)
• Elevate essential styles through

  subtle design interventions

  —fit, proportion, seam placement, trims, and finishes
• Focus on

  body-inclusive design

  , ensuring garments are flattering and comfortable across sizes
• Work closely with

  in-house manufacturing teams

  during sampling and fittings
• Collaborate with

  fabric specialists

  on material selection and development (jersey, terry, rib, pointelle, etc.)
• Create and maintain

  tech packs

  , design sketches, and sample feedback
• Ensure design intent translates accurately into production
• Research global and domestic markets to stay aligned with

  premium, minimal, inclusive design standards

• Contribute to shaping the

  long-term design language and fit philosophy

  of the brand

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fashion Design with creativity and innovative design skills
• Knowledge of Textiles and an eye for selecting textures, patterns, and materials
• Experience with Embroidery techniques and integrating them into apparel
• Expertise in fitting and garment construction for optimal aesthetics and comfort
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication abilities
• Understanding of fashion trends and industry standards
• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
• Experience designing for

  loungewear, athleisure, or premium casual wear

• Strong understanding of

  quiet luxury, minimalism, and premium detailing

• Someone who knows how to

  make simple silhouettes stand out through fit and restraint

  , not graphics or loud design
• Demonstrated sensitivity toward

  size inclusivity and body-positive design

• Comfort working in a

  startup environment

  with evolving processes
• Willingness to be

  hands-on at a manufacturing facility

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
