Role Description

Fashion Designer at D&V will be responsible for designing and developing luxury couture and prêt collections that reflect the brand’s refined aesthetic and craftsmanship standards. The role involves trend research, design conceptualization, fabric and embroidery selection, sample development, and close coordination with artisans and production teams to ensure exceptional quality, fit, and finish across all collections.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptualize and design seasonal 

   couture and prêt collections

    aligned with D&V’s luxury aesthetic
2. Research global luxury trends, silhouettes, fabrics, embellishments, and color palettes
3. Develop detailed 

   design sketches, CADs, and technical drawings

4. Curate premium fabrics, hand embroideries, trims, and surface developments
5. Work closely with 

   master tailors, pattern makers, and artisans

    to ensure flawless execution
6. Oversee 

   sampling, fittings, and garment refinements

   , ensuring precision in fit and finish
7. Maintain design integrity from concept to final production
8. Ensure collections balance 

   artistry, wearability, and commercial relevance

9. Collaborate with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams on timelines and costing
10. Support styling, lookbooks, campaigns, and runway / trunk show presentations
11. Document collections, line plans, and archival references

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputed institute
2. Strong expertise in 

   luxury textiles, couture techniques, garment construction, and draping

3. High proficiency in 

   Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

   , and design visualization tools
4. Strong aesthetic sensibility with attention to detail and craftsmanship
5. Understanding of luxury fit standards and finishing
6. Ability to translate a creative vision into structured collections
