About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer & Catalogue Developer with strong interest in kids wear and apparels. The ideal candidate should be passionate about childrens fashion, understand the unique needs of parents and kids, and be eager to research and analyse parental purchasing trends in kids wear segments. You will play a key role in designing fresh, trendy collections while also value adding in existing catalogue.

Key Responsibilities

• Design innovative and market relevant kids wear collections aligned with brand aesthetics.
• Stay updated on current and emerging kids wear trends, fabrics, patterns and styles.
• Conduct thorough research on parents buying behaviour, seasonal purchase trends, comfort preferences and emerging kids fashion pattern.
• Develop visually appealing catalogues for online and offline platforms- including product styling, layout planning and theme creation.
• Collaborate with the marketing, product and merchandising teams to ensure cohesive brand communication.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility, quality and timely execution.
• Maintain strong insights of current catalogue and help sales and marketing team to make go to market strategy with highlighting design USPs.
• Face lift current best selling products with trending styles/colours.
• Maintain a strong understanding of kids wear sizing, safety standards and fabric suitability.
• Analyse competitor catalogue and market offerings to help position our products better.
• Assist in photoshoots by guiding styling, garment presentation and prop selection.

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Proven expertise in kids wear design.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, garment construction and colour theory.
• Creative mindset with excellent illustration and design software skills (Adobe illustrator, photoshop, CorelDRAW etc.).
• Ability to research and interpret parental purchase behaviour and market insights.
• Experience in catalogue design, layout creation and visual merchandising.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
