Role Overview

We are looking for a Fashion Designer with 4-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in designing for online business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital fashion trends, e-commerce customer preferences, and design aesthetics that perform well in the online retail space.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collection Development and Trend Research

• Design seasonal and festive collections, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and customer preferences.
• Research fashion trends, color palettes, fabric innovations, and silhouettes for kidswear.
• Develop mood boards, sketches, and digital renderings to present design concepts.

2. E-Commerce and Market-Driven Design

• Create designs optimized for online marketplaces, focusing on best-selling silhouettes, competitive pricing, and high sell-through rates.
• Ensure product listings have strong visual appeal with attention to fabric details, embellishments, and functionality.
• Adapt designs based on performance analytics and customer reviews.

3. Sampling and Production Coordination

• Work closely with the sampling unit to develop prototypes that meet design expectations.
• Coordinate and providing tech packs to merchandising and production teams to ensure designs are feasible for bulk manufacturing.
• Ensure quality control in sampling and final production runs.

4. Product Listing and Digital Content Support

• Collaborate with the cataloging and marketing teams to create strong product
• descriptions and imagery for online platforms.
• Ensure designs are styled effectively for photoshoots and campaigns.
• Provide input for product positioning, pricing, and online promotions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Sell-through rate (%) and Return Rate (%)– Success of designs on online marketplaces.
• Sampling efficiency (%) – Time and cost-effectiveness in design execution.
• Customer rating & reviews – Based on product feedback and return rates.
• Production success rate – Quality control and minimal rejections.
• Marketplace trends adoption – Responsiveness to online fashion trends.

Who You Are

✔ Experience: 4-5 years in kids wear or ethnic wear, preferably with experience in

online fashion retail.

✔ Skills: Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.

Proficiency in trend forecasting and fabric sourcing.

✔ Mindset: Detail-oriented, creative, and data-driven, with a passion for functional

and aesthetic design.

✔ Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce fashion dynamics, trending

styles, and customer preferences.
