Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training modules tailored for entry-level retail staff, covering topics such as sales techniques, customer interaction, billing procedures, inventory management, and store policies.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new recruits arriving from out-of-state locations, including cultural adaptation to Chennai and basic Tamil language essentials for daily operations.
• Assess trainees' progress through evaluations, feedback sessions, and practical simulations to ensure readiness for deployment.
• Collaborate with department heads to customize training based on specific role requirements (e.g., floor sales, billing counters).
• Monitor and mentor trainees during on-the-job training phases to address any challenges and improve performance.
• Maintain training records, prepare reports on training outcomes, and recommend improvements to the training curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and builds confidence among diverse groups.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications in training or retail management are a plus.
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in training or faculty roles, preferably in retail, hospitality, or customer service sectors.
• Proven track record of training multilingual or diverse groups, with experience handling recruits from non-local regions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Proficiency in using training tools such as presentations, role-playing exercises, and digital learning platforms.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required, to accommodate training schedules.
• Location: Chennai (candidates must be willing to relocate if necessary).

Language Skills

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Hindi, English, and Tamil to effectively train and communicate with recruits and local teams.
