Company Description Sterimed Kochi Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer specializing in high-quality medical and industrial gloves, catering to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Palghat. The role entails performing day-to-day tasks including overseeing production processes, ensuring quality control, managing automated dipping lines, and performing material tests for compliance and performance. The role may also involve coordination with various departments to ensure smooth operational workflow and adherence to international standards. Oversee all aspects of daily factory operations to ensure timely and efficient production Plan and manage production schedules to meet quality and delivery targets Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime Manage raw material and consumable inventory levels and coordinate with procurement Enforce safety, health, and compliance standards across the factory floor Lead and mentor a team of supervisors, technicians, and support staff Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce waste Liaise with quality control to address any production-related quality issues Prepare and submit routine operational reports to senior management Qualifications Experience in production processes and quality control management Excellent organizational and coordination abilities Problem-solving skills and attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field Previous experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus Candidate Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production role or managerial roles Prior experience managing plant or factory operations is highly desirable Strong leadership and team management skills Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities Good understanding of production planning, inventory control, and machinery maintenance Candidates currently working in the industry or recently retired professionals are welcome to apply Show more Show less
