Job Description

Key Responsibilities:  Oversee the entire factory operations including production, quality control, maintenance, and manpower management.  Plan and schedule daily production to meet targets, timelines, and quality benchmarks.  Monitor workflow, resource allocation, and inventory to ensure smooth functioning.  Implement and enforce safety, health, and environmental regulations.  Supervise production staff and ensure training, discipline, and motivation.  Coordinate with design, merchandising, and procurement teams to align production timelines with business goals.  Monitor and control wastage, optimize machine utilization, and reduce downtime.  Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with audits and certifications.  Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for production, inventory, and manpower.  Identify areas of improvement and drive continuous process improvement initiatives. Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field.  7–10 years of experience in a production supervisory role in the textile/apparel industry.  Strong knowledge of garment/textile production processes and machinery.  Proven ability to manage large teams and handle factory operations independently.  Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.  Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, production planning tools and looms.
