Job Summary:

As a Facility Coordinator in the healthcare industry, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the front desk area.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Check-in and Check-out: Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as needed.Schedule appointments and manage appointment reminders.Collect co-payments, fees, and process payments accurately.Direct patients to the appropriate department or healthcare professional. Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls promptly and provide information or transfer calls to the appropriate personnel.
Administrative Support: Maintain organized patient records, both physical and electronic.
Ensure the waiting area is clean and comfortable.Assist with completing patient forms and paperwork.Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to facilitate patient care.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment schedule efficiently, minimizing overlaps and delays.
Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals as directed by healthcare providers.Communicate any scheduling changes to patients as necessary.

HIPAA Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Adhere to privacy and security policies when handling patient records and personal information.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using office software, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and scheduling software.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced and high-stress situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:
