Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee the upkeep and smooth functioning of campus facilities such as lecture halls, laboratories, library, medical clinics/hospitals, hostels, cafeterias, and sports areas.

Liaise with department heads, academic staff, and hospital administration to address facility needs and operational requirements.
Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance.
Monitor utilities, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems for uninterrupted operation.
Supervise repair works, renovations, and refurbishments to ensure quality and timely completion.
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs and emergencies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards as mandated by university policies and local regulations.
Maintain records of maintenance schedules, equipment warranties, contracts, and service agreements.
MIS Preparation and reports generation
Provide administrative and operational support for campus events, seminars, conferences, and medical outreach programs.
Prior experience in facilities management, preferably in educational or healthcare institutions is preferred
