Job Description

The Real Estate / Facility Management job family is responsible for the planning, development, construction, and maintenance of all buildings and grounds owned or leased by the organization. This includes all aspects of the real estate lifecycle from site selection and acquisition to disposition.

Job holders manage the organization's fleet of vehicles, and all office and warehouse equipment and furniture. In addition, they are responsible for the security of all organization buildings and grounds, and for the safety of all employees, visitors, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool.

Core Duties:

· Plans and organises the efficient and cost-effective layout of facilities.

· Oversees the operation and maintenance of the organization’s buildings and facilities.

· Maintains good compliance with various policies and procedures.

· Ensures that all necessary licenses and permits are acquired.

· Negotiates contracts with vendors and maintain relationships.

· Estimates material and labour costs.

· Supervises overall operating and maintenance of organisation’s buildings.

· Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments

· Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards

· Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations

· Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments

· Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs

· Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors

· Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.

· Handle insurance plans and service contracts

· Keep financial and non-financial records

· Perform analysis and forecasting

Requirements and skills:

· Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position

· Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

· Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational and leadership skills

· Good analytical/critical thinking

· Bachelor / master in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field

· Relevant professional qualification will be an advantage

· Candidate preferred – Male only and must have experience in real estate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
