Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with experience in the façade industry , including aluminium systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, and architectural glazing. The role focuses on implementing quality assurance plans, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, and maintaining overall product and installation quality from factory to site. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Control: Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Plans , Inspection Test Plans (ITP) , and Method Statements . Inspect incoming materials (aluminium profiles, glass, gaskets, etc.) to ensure conformity with specifications and supplier quality certifications. Monitor and inspect fabrication and assembly processes in the factory to ensure quality control procedures are being followed. Site Quality Management: Conduct on-site inspections of façade installation, ensuring workmanship complies with approved drawings, ITPs, and safety standards. Coordinate and witness façade testing (water, air, structural, impact, etc.) in laboratories or on-site. Maintain detailed quality records and prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Coordination: Collaborate with design, production, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues. Interface with consultants, main contractors, and clients during audits, inspections, and quality reviews. Support third-party inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain updated records of QA/QC documentation, test certificates, and approvals. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and project-specific quality requirements. Conduct internal quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field. Experience: 3–6 years of QA/QC experience in the façade, aluminium, or glass industry . Skills: Strong knowledge of façade systems (curtain walls, unitized panels, windows, doors, ACP, glass). Familiar with international standards (ASTM, EN, BS, AAMA) and façade testing protocols. Proficient in using QA tools and software (MS Office, AutoCAD; QC checklists, report formats). Excellent documentation and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
