Estimation Engineer (Estimator)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Study architectural and technical drawings to identify scope of work for aluminum doors, windows, curtain wall, and glass partitions. Prepare cost estimates covering materials, fabrication, accessories, glass specifications, and installation. Request and evaluate quotes from aluminum profile suppliers, hardware vendors, and glass manufacturers. Generate detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns for tender submissions. Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of estimates. Provide value engineering options to optimize design and reduce costs where applicable. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for submission to clients and consultants. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, product developments, and supplier offerings. Support site or project teams during pre- and post-award phases when needed.
