About the Company:


Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

  • Lead and manage the CVD process engineering team to ensure stable operations, high-yield manufacturing, and timely execution of engineering and production activities. Provide mentorship and technical development for engineers in both process and soft skills.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance film quality, process stability, equipment uptime, and overall module performance in line with fab productivity and cost objectives.
  • Oversee the development, qualification, and optimization of CVD processes for dielectric and conductive films, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry specifications.
  • Support technology transfer, process setup, and ramp-up for CVD operations in new fab sites, including collaboration with global teams (e.g., startup fab in India).
  • Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and manufacturing teams to evaluate new materials, hardware upgrades, and process enhancements. Lead implementation and qualification of new CVD technologies and platforms.
  • Ensure CVD processes meet all quality, reliability, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Strong familiarity with semiconductor fabrication flows, particularly in logic technology nodes, is essential.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor wafer fab environment, with a strong focus on CVD processes (e.g., PECVD, HDP-CVD, SACVD).
  • In-depth knowledge of CVD film properties, deposition mechanisms, and integration impact across logic technology nodes.
  • Experience with CVD process tools from major vendors (e.g., AMAT, LAM, TEL) including process setup, recipe development, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement projects, tool qualifications, and technology transfers across global sites.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage engineering teams.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities under time constraints while ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
