Job Title: Fabric Sourcing & Follow-Up Executive (Woven Fabrics)

Job Overview

We are urgently looking for a Fabric Sourcing & Follow-Up Executive with hands-on experience in woven fabrics. The role requires strong coordination with mills and suppliers, ensuring timely fabric inward, and managing internal documentation and payment follow-ups. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced apparel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily follow-up with fabric mills and suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and inward of fabrics
• Track order status, delivery schedules, and pending quantities
• Coordinate internally to raise required documents (POs, GRNs, invoices, challans, etc.)
• Ensure payment follow-ups and closures with accounts and suppliers
• Maintain accurate Excel trackers for fabric orders, inward, and supplier status
• Handle email communication professionally with suppliers and internal teams
• Flag delays, shortages, or quality concerns proactively to the sourcing team

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics (cotton, blends, synthetics, GSM, widths, shrinkage basics)
• Experience working with fabric mills, traders, and vendors
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, trackers, basic formulas)
• Excellent email drafting and follow-up skills
• Understanding of fabric sourcing lifecycle and supply chain coordination
• Basic knowledge of documentation & payment processes in apparel manufacturing
• Good coordination, negotiation, and time-management skills
• Ability to work under tight timelines and production pressure

Language Requirements

• Hindi & English – Mandatory
• Any additional regional language is an added advantage

Preferred Background

• Experience in garment manufacturing / export house / textile sourcing
• Exposure to production merchandising or fabric sourcing teams
• Immediate or short notice period candidates preferred
