Job Description

façade installation professionals and site helpers

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows and doors, structural glazing, fire-rated glazing, EPDM, and various cladding systems

  • Loading and unloading materials, preparing working areas, and ensuring cleanliness and safety at the worksite

  • Interpreting and working from technical installation drawings, using gridlines and datums for precise alignment

  • Conducting daily checks and following quality assurance processes as required by the site team

  • Reporting installation or technical issues to the supervisor or project manager

  • Strict adherence to health and safety regulations and site protocols

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in façade installation, including:

    • Curtain wall systems

    • Aluminium windows and doors

    • Structural glazing and external cladding systems

  • Ability to read and understand technical installation drawings

  • Skilled in setting out works using gridlines and levels

  • Good communication skills for coordination with team members and site engineers

  • Basic IT knowledge (use of mobile apps or site-related software)

For Joiners (Helpers)

  • Basic experience on construction sites

  • Willingness to assist and learn on the job

  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/on-site environments

Preferred Certifications

  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)

  • IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)

  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association)

Note: Candidates who do not have UK certifications must be willing to obtain them after selection.

    • Candidates must take and clear the IELTS exam (General or UKVI) independently

    • No training or support for IELTS will be provided by the employer

    • A minimum band score of 6.0 is typically required for visa processing

    • Educational and experience certificates

    • Background verification and medical clearance

Working Hours

  • 48 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

  • Overtime or weekend work may be required based on project demand
