External Communications Manager

As the Manager of External Communications, your primary responsibilities will include driving brand recognition and category ownership through media, content, and public relations strategies. You will also lead financial communication and strategic messaging for the organizational leadership, including the Chairman, MD, and CXOs. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing media relations, media buying, and influencer collaborations while overseeing the creation and distribution of internal communications such as the monthly Stainless Post newsletter. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying brand opportunities, award nominations, speaker platforms, and managing PR around events and exhibitions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media houses and influencers will be essential, along with vendor management of PR agencies, media buyers, creative teams, and event organizers. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 6-9 years of experience in PR, Corporate Communications, Journalism, or Brand Strategy. A full-time degree in Communications/Marketing/PR/Mass Communication from leading institutes such as IIMC, MICA, ACJ, XIC, or Symbiosis is required. Exceptional writing and editing skills in English and Hindi, strong leadership qualities, media handling expertise, and strategic thinking abilities are also desired. This position is based in Gurgaon, with travel required across India for events and media coordination.
