About the Company: Recliners India Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and exporter of high-quality recliners, motion furniture, stationary sofa, adjustable beds, mattresses, etc. With sales of $15 million and expanding exports, the company is now exporting to the USA, Canada, UK, and Middle East Asia. The export unit is situated in Mundra, Gujarat, while the domestic sales unit is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Being a rapidly growing brand in India, Recliners India Pvt. Ltd. is the market leader in the motion furniture category. Job Summary: As the Export Merchandiser at Recliners India Pvt. Ltd., your primary responsibility will be to source overseas opportunities, utilize digital marketing to reach international customers, identify overseas buyers through digital tools, and manage the export processes for our diverse range of products. This role involves liaising with global clients, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and collaborating closely with various departments to guarantee timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Sourcing Opportunities: - Utilize databases, websites, and digital marketing/tools to find overseas buyers. - Send emailers to source opportunities. - Identify and engage with overseas Sales Agents. - Develop new Dealers, Distributors, and Business partners in the international market. - Collaborate with Export promotion councils, embassies, high commissions, Chamber of Commerce, and trade fair authorities to identify potential importers, buyers, and distributors. Client Management: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with international clients. - Understand client requirements and develop strategies to meet their expectations. - Provide clients with product information, pricing, and updates on their orders. - Manage all pre-sales and post-sales client interactions. - Develop samples according to buyer requirements. Order Management: - Receive and process orders from international clients. - Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery. - Monitor order status and address any issues or delays. - Negotiate purchase order terms with the Buyer. Documentation and Compliance: - Prepare and manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificate of origins, and shipping documents. - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. - Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth export operations if needed. Coordination with Internal Teams: - Collaborate with the production team to ensure products meet client specifications. - Maintain and prepare production tracker records. - Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange shipments and track deliveries. Logistics & Shipping: - Communicate with Freight forwarders, shipping lines, and Custom brokers. - Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to international customers. Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify new markets and clients. - Analyze market trends and competitor activities to formulate export strategies. - Provide insights and recommendations to management based on market analysis. Customer Service: - Deliver excellent customer service and support to international clients. - Address client queries, complaints, and feedback promptly and efficiently. - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty. Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare and submit Export Performance Reports, Analysis, and Insights. - Identify areas for improvement and optimize export processes. Risk Management: - Mitigate risks associated with international trade and export operations. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in export merchandising or international trade. - Strong understanding of export regulations, documentation, and logistics. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and experience with ERP systems. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. - Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. - Prior experience in a similar industry is advantageous.
