Export Documentation Executive

You will be joining Makams Industry Private Limited as an Export Documentation Executive based in Gurgaon H.O, Gurugram, Haryana. Your main responsibility will involve managing and overseeing the documentation process for international trade, export, and import activities. This includes ensuring compliance with export regulations, coordinating with various departments and external parties, and maintaining accurate export documentation. Your key duties will encompass: - Staying updated on international trade laws and regulations - Overseeing the preparation and accuracy of export documentation - Coordinating with internal departments like sales, logistics, finance, manufacturing, and legal - Communicating with external parties such as customs authorities and freight forwarders - Establishing a system for organizing and archiving export documentation - Evaluating and enhancing export documentation processes - Providing training and guidance to employees - Collaborating with auditors during inspections - Staying informed on international trade practices and regulations In addition to the core responsibilities, you will be expected to support customer acquisition through identifying potential customers, initiating discussions, and coordinating meetings. You will also play a role in coordinating the company's participation in expos and exhibitions abroad. To succeed in this role, you should have a Science/Pharma graduate background, preferably with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Essential competencies include knowledge of international trade, effective communication, documentation expertise, organizational and analytical skills, and IT proficiency. It is necessary to have a reliable commute or be willing to relocate to Gurgaon H.O, Gurugram, Haryana. A Bachelor's degree and fluency in English are also required.
