Export and Import Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Export and Import Executive to manage and oversee all import/export operations in the Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will handle international shipping, customs clearance, documentation, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth and timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end export and import processes, including customs clearance, shipping, and logistics coordination.

Prepare and verify all necessary export/import documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.).

Ensure compliance with all government regulations, trade laws, and customs requirements.

Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for timely shipments.

Negotiate freight rates and maintain cost-effective shipping strategies.

Track shipments and update relevant departments regarding delivery schedules.

Maintain accurate records of all international transactions and documentation.

Coordinate with finance for payments related to duties, taxes, and shipping charges.

Stay updated with the latest trade policies, export-import regulations, and logistics best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

Proven experience in export and import operations (EV or manufacturing industry preferred).

Strong understanding of customs regulations, shipping terms (Incoterms), and documentation requirements.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Salary:

Salary is entirely based on experience and skill level. Candidates with strong industry knowledge, established vendor networks, and regulatory expertise will be offered competitive pay packages.
