About the Institute of NeuroDevelopment (IND)

The Institute of NeuroDevelopment (IND) works at the intersection of neuroscience, education, and parent empowerment. We help children with diverse developmental needs realise their fullest potential by enabling parents to lead structured, evidence-based, and play-enriched developmental journeys. IND’s systems – such as CLARITY, BOOST, and Developmental GPS – bring together science, empathy, and implementation discipline for measurable breakthroughs.

About the Role

We are inviting applications for an Experiential Learning Facilitator Intern who will engage two children, aged 6 and 9 years, through a combination of goal-directed and flow-based learning activities. The approach will include both structured learning methods and naturalistic play-based interactions, carefully designed to foster development across multiple domains to design and implement meaningful, curiosity-driven learning experiences.

This role combines hands-on engagement, research, creativity, and modern learning tools (including AI-assisted platforms). The internship involves both research and implementation – trying out different strategies, adapting them in real time, and documenting the outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

A. Experiential & Play-Based Learning Facilitation

  • Engage the children with creative, physical, and cognitive games designed for their age group.
  • Implement both goal-oriented plans and open-ended, exploratory learning sessions
  • Design and conduct daily learning experiences through exploration, play, creativity, and curiosity.
  • Blend structured and spontaneous activities to promote concept understanding, problem-solving, and adaptive learning.
  • Engage children daily through structured play and learning activities
  • Observe, guide, and document how each child learns best, refining activities accordingly.
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and stimulating environment for the children

B. Digital & AI Learning Integration

  • Research internet and AI-based educational tools suitable for the children’s developmental level.
  • Help children safely navigate and use digital platforms and AI tools to explore ideas, create projects, and learn interactively.
  • Identify and curate age-appropriate online content for educational exploration.

C. Research & Learning Design

  • Continuously explore new experiential learning approaches from global best practices.
  • Collaborate with mentors to follow and adjust strategies based on real-time feedback.
  • Participate in discussions to refine strategies and bring in research-based ideas
  • Adapt ideas creatively to the children’s developmental and emotional profiles as well as their developmental goals and responses
  • Document and reflect on what methods yield best engagement and growth.

D. Documentation, Reporting & Reflection

  • Document activities and outcomes systematically based on the given strategy
  • Maintain daily records of activities, observations, and progress.
  • Prepare short reflective summaries on what worked and what needs adjustment.
  • Collaborate in recording and publishing learning videos on YouTube to chronicle the children’s journey.

What You’ll Do (in a nutshell)

  • Design and facilitate hands-on learning activities — both structured and spontaneous.
  • Help children explore and learn using internet and AI-based educational tools.
  • Research and curate creative ways of learning through play and experience.
