Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Crewing Recruiter located in Chennai. The responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified seafarers to meet crewing requirements, maintaining an updated database of seafarers, coordinating schedules for onboarding/offboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and maritime regulations. The Crewing Recruiter will also develop strong relationships with crew members and provide support for training and career development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, crew management, or human resources within the maritime industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
• Knowledge of maritime labor regulations, compliance standards, and crew certifications
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records
• Proficiency in relevant software tools or systems to support recruitment and crewing operations
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet hiring deadlines
• Educational background in Human Resources, Maritime Studies, or relevant fields is preferred
