As an expeditor at the company, your role will involve expediting vendors" activities to ensure the readiness of equipment and related documentation for manufacturing, inspection, and dispatch within contractual delivery dates. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing project-specific OM/E execution plans for Order Management/Expediting. - Monitoring documents and information to be received from suppliers, such as organization charts, progress reports, and fabrication schedules. - Compiling and issuing expediting visit reports and minutes of meetings held with suppliers. - Conducting expediting visits to suppliers, reinforcing expediting in case of failing suppliers, and raising appropriate alerts to the project when delays are detected. - Proactively monitoring all supplier activities from design development to shipping preparation, reviewing vendor progress reports, fabrication schedules, and raising alerts in case of deviations. - Interface with suppliers and the Inspection department to monitor inspection hold and witness points, expediting the issuance of the Inspection Release Certificate (IRC). - Monitoring and addressing delayed critical vendor documentation and following up with suppliers on open points/punch lists. - Identifying potential areas of concerns or delays with deliveries and initiating appropriate corrective actions. Additionally, the expeditor will maintain records for issue and acknowledgment for MDRs and shall initiate PIM/PMM in consultation with the inspector and Vendor/Supplier. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Additional contractual/commercial/Supply Chain Management education/qualification may be an added advantage. - Experience: 10 - 15 Years in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/EPC industry. - Knowledge in ERP/SAP systems. - Language: Proficiency in English.
