Expediter - Rajasthan

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly experienced Expediter with over 10 years of expertise in supply chain coordination, procurement follow-up, and logistics management, specifically within the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or related renewable energy/power infrastructure sectors. The Expediter will play a critical role in ensuring timely delivery of equipment, materials, and services to meet project schedules and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor and track purchase orders, ensuring vendors deliver materials and equipment on time. Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to resolve delays, discrepancies, or quality issues. Project Support: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align material deliveries with project milestones. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of expediting activities, delivery schedules, and vendor performance. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and proactively implement corrective actions. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for logistics and material handling. Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to project managers and leadership on delivery status and supply chain risks.

Technical Competencies

Deep understanding of battery modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, energy management systems, and auxiliary equipment.,Proven ability to track, expedite, and coordinate delivery of critical equipment across global supply chains.,Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms for purchase order tracking, vendor management, and reporting.,Ability to align material deliveries with EPC project schedules using MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 10 years in expediting, supply chain, or logistics roles, with at least 5 years in energy, power, or industrial projects (BESS preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced certifications (APICS, PMP) are a plus.
