Job Purpose:

To handle and coordinate all air export shipment activities efficiently and accurately from booking to billing, ensuring compliance with airline, customs, and customer requirements while maintaining high levels of service and communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Coordination

• Coordinate with customers, airlines, and overseas agents for air export bookings and shipment updates.
• Arrange timely pick-up, cargo movement, and export clearance as per customer and airline schedules.
• Prepare and verify export documentation including HAWB, MAWB, invoice, packing list, and export declaration.
• Ensure accurate filing of shipment details into internal systems (e.g., ERP, Cargowise, or in-house software).
• Monitor and update flight details, pre-alerts, and shipment status to customers and destination offices.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and verify export documents as per customer and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with CHA for customs documentation and clearance process.
• Ensure adherence to IATA, airline, and DG (Dangerous Goods) regulations.
• Maintain records of all shipments, ensuring documents are filed and retrievable for audit purposes.
• Ensure timely submission of post-shipment documents to clients, banks, and overseas agents.

3. Customer Service

• Provide proactive updates and timely communication to customers regarding shipment status.
• Handle queries, resolve issues related to bookings, documentation, or discrepancies.
• Support key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction through professional handling and responsiveness.

4. Coordination with Internal Teams

• Liaise with pricing, sales, accounts, and finance departments for booking confirmation, cost sheet approvals, and billing.
• Coordinate with the warehouse for cargo receipt, labeling, and dispatch.

5. Billing & Costing

• Prepare and verify job files ensuring all costs are captured accurately before closing the job.
• Ensure invoices are raised timely as per agreed terms.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for supplier and airline payments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of air freight operations, airline booking procedures, and export documentation.
• Familiarity with customs clearance processes and DG cargo handling.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and freight forwarding ERP systems (Cargowise, Logisys, etc.).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Logistics, Commerce, or Supply Chain).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Air Export Operations within a Freight Forwarding company.
• IATA or DG Certification will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
